Advanced Insulation knows from firsthand experience and independent research that the majority of houses in Arizona could cost effectively reduce their total utility bills by 15% to 30% by implementing basic energy conservation strategies.   Most homes in Arizona were not built to maximize energy efficiency and comfort. Up until now, it has been hard for most homeowners to justify the cost of a state-of-the-art audit.

Arizona finally has an energy conservation program that buys down the cost of a state-of-the-art energy audit. They also incentivize energy conservation home improvements with rebates.  Advanced Insulation believes this program is a great deal for APS customers. For this reason we are proud to participate in the APS Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program.  Advanced Insulation has been told that SRP customers will have a similar program come on line this summer.

APS customers are now eligible for a state of the art energy audit, which normally costs about $500, would now only be $99. This comprehensive audit includes a house blower door test, combustion safety, room pressures, and analysis on a computer program. The customer receives a detailed report at the end of the process detailing potential savings from energy improvements. The $99 fee also includes the installation of ten CFLs, three faucet aerators and one low flow shower head.

Not only does the utility pay down the cost of the audit but they provide rebates for house tightening, duct sealing, insulation and shade screens.  If a customer is implements all these energy saving improvements they would be eligible for rebates up to $1000.

What is unique about Advanced Insulation’s offer is that our BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certified Auditors perform the audit and our trained installation crews make all of the repairs under the rebate program. We perform blower door driven house tightening work, seal ducts, install insulation and manufacture and install custom shade screens. We are a one stop shop that rigorously stands behind the quality of our work.
